centenarian – extended family session – pittsburgh, pa

Call me crazy, but I love photographing extended families.  This one, however, was extra special.  You see, this lovely lady just celebrating her 100th birthday.  Three children, four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren later and she has had one amazing life.  Saying that it was a pleasure being asked to capture such a milestone is an understatement.  Were there tears?  A few.  Was there confusion?  Of course.  Were there fart noises to get the boys to cooperate?  Wouldn’t be a session with me without them.  Honestly though, this group made my job so easy, and so much fun.  Let’s do it again next year to celebrate 101!
