I love looking through photos, old and new alike. I love what they represent; a moment, frozen in time that can be looked back upon years later to recall details and evoke the emotion that was felt as if you were right back in that time and place. The flaky skin and wispy eyelashes of your newborn. The way your new husband held you close during your first dance. The way your children belly laugh when you tickle them. Even more, I love the stories they tell; of people and families that can be shared for generations. And for the future generations, a time capsule of sorts, to show them who and where they came from.
